Non-Linear Numerical Modelling of Sustainable Advanced Composite Columns Made from Bamboo Culms

The present article uses the finite element analysis (FEA) software ABAQUS to model a bamboo-based advanced composite column for construction. Different numerical models were analysed be able predict behaviour of tested by same group. Bamboo-based composites maintain inherent excellent mechanical properties raw bamboo whilst adding certain degree processing and engineering. Thus, individual samples are more consistent reliable when compared with their counterparts. A buckling is carried out determine response axial compressive loading. modelling elements imperfection parameters implemented separately in different FEA so that efficacy each could established suggestions made regard size should used future models. results empirical findings, giving insights into quality can obtained using modelling.
